Thank You For The Broken Heart Lyrics - J Rice

VERSE 1
Everything I know about love
I learned from you, from you
And everything I know about pain
I learned from you, you

PRECHORUS
You were my only, you were my first
You showed me lonely, and you took me in when I was hurt
But the most important thing you ever gave me
Was the one that hurt the most

CHORUS
So thank you for the broken heart, oh yeah
And thank you for the permanent scar, oh
'Cause if it wasn’t for you, I might forget
How it feels to let go, and how it feels to get a brand new start
So thank you for the broken heart

VERSE 2
I still remember when you called
And said that he didn’t mean anything
How could you expect me to look at you
The same way
PRECHORUS
You were my only but not my last
You showed me lonely, and you made me put you in the past
But the most important thing you ever gave me
Was the one that hurt the most

CHORUS
So thank you for the broken heart, oh yeah
And thank you for the permanent scar, oh
'Cause if it wasn’t for you, I might forget
How it feels to let go, and how it feels to get a brand new start
So thank you for the broken heart

BRIDGE
And every time I find myself alone in pieces
I find myself
I’ll just remember when you hurt me and I made it

CHORUS
So thank you for the broken heart
And thank you for the permanent scar
Cause if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here
With the love of my life, all my pain disappear
I’ve come so far
So thank you for the broken heart

I thank you, I thank you
For the broken heart
Oh yeah oh, for the broken heart

I'll never have a broken heart again

An Overview of Metro Manila
Manila is the Capital of Philippines which has about 20 million residents. It is divided in 14 municipalities.

The cute charming boys of manila are called “Pogi” and the rest of the general male population are called “Pinoys”. Most foreigners may think that Manila is
very discreet because of the strong influence of the Catholic Church but its NOT. The pink parties are always lively, flamboyant, glamorous and flirty and the Filipino people in general are very tolerant, respectful and diverse. So it can be said that the gay scene is flourishing more than ever. It should also be noted that Homosexuality is legal in the Philippine with the age of consent set to 18.

The pink parties are always lively, flamboyant, glamorous and flirty and the Filipino people in general are very tolerant, respectful and diverse. So it can be said that the gay scene is flourishing more than ever.

The four most interesting places to visit in Manila are Malate which is the gay hub of the Philippines, Makati with a bit of a posh up-market party crowd, Fort Bonifacio for chic afternoon coffee chat, promenades, wining and dining, and Quezon City for the adventurous YOU.

The heart of Queer Manila is on Orosa Street corner of Nakpil Street in Malate. This is also the place where you can find several of the Major Gay Establishments. Every Wednesday the party spirit of the Manileneos are starting to brew, you will see some nice looking guys hanging around in Malate chilling out. The area is always packed and crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings/nights except during heavy rainfalls. You will see a lot of yuppies, ex-pats and tourists chilling out with there friends, attending to comedy shows, wining and dining, and of course clubbing. On certain occasions, a stage is set up on one end of the street where drag shows, celebrities, Handsome Go-Go boys entertain the crowd with there talents and good looks.

Makati is the Central Business District and along Ayala avenue is where most of Manila’s modern high rises are to be seen. There are several shopping Malls in Makati namely SM, Glorietta, Greenbelt and Rustans. Greenbelt is a nicely laid out partly in door and partly out door mall with European-Asian design. Many cafes and restaurants are located in the out door section.
Makati is also a party district for those gay yuppies who fancy makati over malate or Tomas Morato. The nice thing about partying in makati is that smoking is banned on clubs so you don’t actually smell someone else smoke afterwards. However if you are hook into smoking there is always a designated smoking area. Party starts early here, no need to wait for the wee wee hours of the morning, you can start having a few drinks in some bars in greenbelt area then you move to Makati avenue afterwards. The crowd is very mixed from college students, young professionals, celebrities and foreigners.

There are a lot of western and Asian restaurants to find. At the open air part of Greenbelt one can enjoy being seen and seeing people while having an afternoon coffee, a beer or a glass of wine or chilling out in some bars during the evening. There are a lot of friendly gay people there too but not that very cruisy place unless you are very adventurous. Most of the Bars in Greenbelt are mixed places so most of the Pink crowd use it for post dinner drink, pre clubbing drinks. Makati in generally is a place to wine and dine or meet up with your friends or new found buddies.

For the adventurous. Quezon City is a place of excitement and escapades. There are a number of saunas, Go-Go Bars, Male Massage House, and Night Clubs to choose from but they are usually located far from each other so travel by taxi is usually required.
Fort Bonifacio Global City is the center for Manila’s hippest yuppies , young socialites, and well know/ well off crowd. There is a number of Clubs there and most of them are Gay-friendly establishment and is also a must see place. There are a number of Fine dining Western Restaurant, Chic Bars and Clubs and Shopping center it’s a nice place for promenade and people watching.

Well I can talk and talk for hours but will be more easier if you visit it yourself.
